fodders day

Went to the cemetary with Lola as she does every Sunday before Mass to visit Lolo's grave. The taxi waits as we say hi to grandpa and drop off his weekly bouquet of flowers. It takes less than a minute.

My father's ashes are somewhere in the same cemetary. Unfortunately there was no one in charge in the office to show me where his grave is located; only a large map on the wall with a meanless maze of square and numbers. I stared at it for a few moments for some reason, like I could decipher it, before giving up. Happy father's day anyway Dad. Maybe next time.

Dave,
Hi! Read your note for "Father's Day" and your inability to locate Lolo Ely's & your Dad's grave site. Hope this helps: enter Cempark gates then turn right @ main roadway, go straight till you come to the central circular chapel , go around it & @ the FIRST lampost on the LEFT park your car or taxi then cross the vacant grassy spot till you pass the first walkway & you're pretty close to the site. Just look around that vicinity & you'll locate it. Please visit next time you're in Cebu. Thanks.
As for us here in Roanoke, we celebrated on june 17th Uncle Ted's b-day (also on 6-18) a big party as a thanks for his recovery from his motorcycle accident & invited all who visited & expressed their support during his accident/ surgery & recuperation. Raissa & Ronan came home also & we all had a good time. The motif of the party was: "AKA: No More Motorcycles" & this was mentioned in the invitations!
Take care & see you soon. Might visit Lola Tetang in Sept.
